The Mayhem in Milan started around 1pm. As is usual with these types of things, it started slowly and gradually intensified until at the end there was full-fledged chaos. Unlike most mayhem, this one had Balcony seating available. Friendly Fire was rocking the house in this cool opera-like stage place. I was the officer on duty and Isobela was helping me out until she had to leave to Hostess for DJ Tkid at the Glamshack.
Earlier Iso and I were at the Cove's DJ Hangout listening to DJ Maggie who played a good, eclectic mix of rock. The new DJ Hangout, like the old, attracts a good-sized crowd of the coolest people. I don't join in the chat too much, I mostly listen or have side-conversations with Isobela, but I always look forward to the weekly get-togethers.
That evening there was a Toga party at the Glamshack with DJ Jocelyn and hostess Jenda. It was quite a wild time, most everyone had dressed in-theme. There doesn't seem to be as many theme-type parties as there used to be and I miss them. This was a good one.
At the after party we listened to the radio a bit then Case played some tunes. One of the nice ladies there, I forget her name, but the darling passed out giant slugs for us to dance on. The kindness and generosity of people I meet continues to amazes me. If anyone remembers who she was please post a comment. Finally it got so late we all went home and crashed. Another exhausting, delightful day.

The lady who passed out the slugs was the fantastic and beautifully gorgeous Gwen Carillon, a DJ in Dublin with whom I work on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM SLT :)
